What happens to the numbers you enter

Every tool on this site is a piece of JavaScript that runs inside your browser. When you type a swing speed and a result appears, no network request is made. Nothing is transmitted, logged or stored on any server.

Your entries are saved in your browser's own local storage on your device, so that a second visit does not ask you for the same measurements again. That data:

• stays on the device you typed it on;
• is never sent anywhere, by this site or anyone else;
• can be erased at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings, and is erased automatically if you browse privately.

If your browser blocks local storage, the tools still work — they simply will not remember your figures next time.

Analytics and cookies

This site currently sets no cookies at all and runs no analytics. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you have not been shown a consent banner. If analytics are ever added, they will be cookieless by preference; if a cookie-based service such as Google Analytics is ever used instead, it will not load at all for visitors in the UK, the EU or any other jurisdiction requiring prior consent until that consent is given.

No advertising network, no social media pixel, no session recorder and no fingerprinting script runs on this site.

Affiliate links

Retailer links on this site are affiliate links — see the affiliate disclosure. When you click one, you leave this site and arrive at the retailer, who will apply their own privacy policy and their own cookies. This site does not receive your name, your email address, your payment details or your order contents from any retailer. Affiliate networks report aggregate commission figures only.

Your measurements are never appended to an outbound link. Retailer links carry a search term describing a club specification — for example "driver 10.5 degree stiff flex" — and nothing about you.

Hosting and server logs

This is a static site. Pages are files served by a hosting provider, which will keep standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent — for security and abuse prevention. Those logs are the hosting provider's, are not used to build a profile of you, and are not combined with anything else.

Your rights

This site is read by golfers in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia, and the applicable law differs between them. The practical position is the same in all four: there is essentially nothing here to exercise rights over, because no personal data is collected.

• UK and EU (UK GDPR / GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, port and object to processing of your personal data. This site holds no personal data about you to which those rights could attach.
• California (CCPA / CPRA). No personal information is collected, sold or shared. There is nothing to opt out of.
• Canada (PIPEDA) and Australia (Privacy Act). The same applies: no personal information is collected through this site.

If you contact us by email, we will hold that email in order to reply to it. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time.

Children

This site is aimed at adults buying golf equipment. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially — for example if analytics are introduced — the date at the top of this page will change and the relevant section will be rewritten to describe what actually happens. There will be no silent change.
